How Gemini Season Impacts Communication Between the Brain and Body



(And What You Can Do to Restore the Connection)




Gemini season is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, intellect, and rapid movement. It’s a time when conversations pick up, the calendar fills fast, and we start reaching for new ideas, experiences, and connections.


But for many people, especially during this season, the mind moves so quickly that the body gets left behind.

That disconnect between brain and body is subtle at first—but it becomes overwhelming, uncomfortable, and even painful when left unchecked.

The Brain Gets Loud. The Body Gets Ignored.



During Gemini season, we’re drawn toward multitasking, social stimulation, screen time, and mental chatter. These things aren’t inherently bad—but they pull awareness outward, away from the internal signals your body is trying to send.


Here’s how that disconnect can show up:


  • You forget to eat, hydrate, or rest until you crash

  • You power through tension, headaches, or joint pain

  • You notice you’re clumsier than usual—dropping things, bumping into corners, missing steps

  • You feel physically tired but mentally overstimulated

  • You talk your way through discomfort instead of listening to it



This is what I call being deactivated—disconnected from your inner world and trying to operate purely from your brain.





Deactivation Is More Than Discomfort—It’s Disempowering



In a deactivated state, you may find yourself:


  • Second-guessing everything—what you want, what you feel, how you look, what you need

  • Constantly looking to others for cues or validation

  • Experiencing low self-trust or body insecurity

  • Feeling emotionally overwhelmed and physically numb at the same time

  • Caught in a loop of “doing” without ever feeling truly present



The longer you stay disconnected, the more you may notice pain in the Gemini zones of the body—neck, shoulders, arms, and wrists. For clients with Sagittarius placements, hand and wrist tightness often intensifies now. And if it’s been more than 6 weeks since your last massage, Taurus season tension is likely still trapped in the upper body, preventing Gemini energy from flowing properly.





What Activation Feels Like—And How Massage Helps You Get There

You don’t have to wait until your next appointment to start reconnecting. Here are a few daily practices to rebuild awareness:



1. Practice Quiet Presence



Sit with one hand over your chest or belly. Breathe. Ask yourself:

What do I need right now?

Wait for the answer to come from sensation, not thought.



2. Pause Before Reacting



When you’re overstimulated, stop and ask:

Where am I tight? What am I clenching?

Give your body a chance to speak before the mind takes over.



3. Move With Curiosity



Stretch your arms and shoulders slowly.

Ask: Where is this movement smooth? Where does it catch? What feels good?



4. Get a Massage (Especially If It’s Been More Than 4–6 Weeks)



Massage helps:


  • Release neck and shoulder congestion that blocks Gemini energy

  • Restore natural movement and breath

  • Give your nervous system the green light to rest, process, and recalibrate
